We ended the month with another great trip to Nutley Edge for our Food Lovers activity break where we baked the week away! Guests baked bread, made two different types of soup, enjoyed a tasting menu from our chefs Gary and Kirstie and baked and decorated cupcakes. Not to mention the home made mac and cheese, puff pastry pizzas and oatmeal cookies!
We also welcomed So Sussex forest school for another great day of making garlic pesto, flat breads and pancakes, which we cooked on the fire outside and guests helped to light. Guests also met our goats, collected eggs from our chickens and walked Trevor, our handy man’s dog.
We definitely didn’t go hungry and guests got to take home all the recipes in accessible form, as well as their own chef hats and aprons.
