Christmas Activity Break

It’s the most wonderful time of the year at Nutley Edge! On the first of our two Christmas breaks, we did just about every festive activity you can think of. We kicked off the long weekend with a lovely lunch at the Coffee Barn in Uckfield followed by a lot of Christmas shopping! Our guests enjoyed a host of other activities including a Christmas themed forest school craft session with King of the Woods, Christmas tree decorating in the farmhouse, mince pie baking, and Christmas decoration making.

We also marvelled at the decorations at Sheffield Park and Gardens, a National Trust site that has acres of landscaped garden and lakes to explore and is surrounded by historic woodland.

If you’re already a fan of our holidays, you’ll know that many of our guests love music. Our folk singer Jo led our guests in singing Christmas carols before we tucked into a wonderful Christmas dinner courtesy of Gary from Ambience catering. Bonus highlight was watching England beat Senegal in the World Cup! Can you think of a better way to celebrate the season? We can’t!
