About Outward
Everything we do at Outward is about promoting the choice and independence of vulnerable people to have genuine control over their lives, play an active role in the community and develop as individuals. We provide innovative and responsive housing, care and support services that promote choice and independence for people with a variety of needs including people with learning disabilities, autism, older people, young people and people with mental health support needs across North and East London.
Outward Housing Department provides housing management aimed at sustaining vulnerable people in their tenancies and assisting people to move on from short term services. We work with a number of registered housing providers and in conjunction with our Group partner Newlon Housing Trust to provide housing management to their supported housing homes.
About the Role
This a Permanent Part Time Role, 22.5 hours per week.
We aim to consistently provide high quality services to our residents. We are looking for a highly motivated, customer focused, solution orientated individual to work with us on the delivery of service charges.
You will be working within the Income & Service Charge team, supporting the business on all phases of annual service charge process, ensuring that project deliverables are completed on time and the quality of outcomes is good. This role includes supporting on the setting and delivery of service charges. You will support the Income & Service Charge Manager in ensuring all activities are legislatively compliant. This is a proactive and exciting role also to showcasing your service charge expertise to support an improvement budgeting and reconciliation.
You will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work well under pressure, show attention to detail and be able to prioritise your work. Communicate clearly in both written and verbally to a range of stakeholders. If you are competent in all areas of service charge administration, able to work independently within a busy team and are keen to make a difference to for our customers, we would like to hear from you.
