Awards

We know that our staff do fantastic things and we want to recognise that! On October 11th, we will be holding a gala event to celebrate the achievements of our community and we need your help with nominations. Winners will receive an exclusive invitation to the gala event to receive their reward.

Video Nominations: We’re going to compile a video of nominations to share at the awards event. We’d really appreciate it if you would be willing to help us out by filming a short video of you stating who you are nominating and why. You can attach your video to the bottom of this form or send it to outwardcommunications@outward.org.uk.

Staff Awards

Leadership Award: For a manager, area manager, or director who has excelled in their role as a leader by empowering their teams and meeting their KPIs.

Above and Beyond Award: For any member of staff who has exceeded expectations or gone out of their way to make a difference. This may include brilliant key-working or showing creativity in their approach to tasks.

Engaging, Enabling, Empowering Award: For any member of staff who embodies Outward’s values of engaging, enabling, and empowering. This may include through enhancing Outward’s reputation, excellent safeguarding, or helping somebody they support to achieve their goals.

Best New Starter Award: This is award is for any member of staff who began their career with Outward in 2022 and has demonstrated excellence in their role.

Best Colleague Award: For a colleague who is an excellent team player and supports their peers.

Outward Award: This award is nominated by the people we support and recognizes excellence amongst Outward staff.

Lifetime Achievement Award: For a member of staff who has made a significant contribution to Outward over the course of their career.

Central Team Member Award: For a staff member who is part of Outward’s Central team that has made an exceptional contribution over the last year.

Safety and Wellbeing Champion: For a member of staff who has made a significant impact on the safety and wellbeing of the people we support.

Workplace Award: For a member of staff who engages consistently on Workplace, sharing good news and helping to build a sense of community.

Awards for people supported by Outward

Master Chef Award: For people who have achieved outcomes or engaged with cooking activities in a meaningful way over the last year. 

Arts Achiever Award: For people who have achieved outcomes or engaged meaningfully with arts and crafts, dance, drama, music, or any other art form. 

Fitness Fanatic Award: For people who have achieved outcomes related to fitness or exercise, or have taken part in exercise activities in a meaningful way over the last year. 

Wellness Warrior Award: For people who have achieved outcomes relating to their health and wellbeing, or who have taken steps to improve their health and wellbeing.

Savvy Saver Award: For people who have learnt more about their finances or become more financially independent over the last year.  

Technology Wizard Award: For people who have achieved outcomes relating to learning about technology, or who have taken steps to improve their understanding of technology over the last year. 

Great Gardener Award: For people who have achieved outcomes related to gardening, or have taken part in gardening in a meaningful way over the last year. 

Independence Award: For people who have achieved outcomes around becoming more independent over the last year. 

Home Hero Award: For people who have achieved outcomes related to domestic duties (e.g. cleaning, laundry) or interior design.  

Community Champion Award: For people who have either achieved outcomes around or made an effort to get involved with either the Outward community or their local community. Good for people who have outcomes related to their social lives.
