What we do

Outward is a forward-thinking charity that works across ten London Boroughs to support people to live with dignity and purpose. Our work is diverse, from supporting people to live independently in their own homes to providing safe, secure accommodation and tailored support when and where it is needed. Everything we do is about enabling people to have greater choice, independence and control over how they live their own lives.

We offer a range of specialist services for:

  • people with learning disabilities, including a specialised service that supports people on the autism spectrum

  • older people

  • people with mental health issues

  • young people at risk.

We work in the following London boroughs: Bromley, Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey, Islington, Newham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest.

Our vision

That each person who needs support gets support to lead the life they choose.

Our mission

To be a flexible, responsive and reliable provider of housing and community support services that is driven by a real understanding of – and firm commitment to – the unique needs and aspirations of each person we support.

Our core values

We listen to what our customers say, we involve them in what we do, and we are honest and open.

We assist and support our customers to enable them to achieve their goals and aspirations.

We inspire and encourage, empowering our customers to take control and to take advantage of opportunities.
