Sebert Road is open for referrals

4th March 2019

Sebert Road (see leaflet) is a new supported living service in Forest Gate for adults with high needs, complex learning disabilities and/or autism. It is open for referrals from anyone from inside and outside Newham.

The service consists of a five bedroom mid-terrace house, close to shops and stations. It has a good sized kitchen/dining room, and one large en-suite bedroom, with wheelchair access. There is an enclosed rear garden.

Type of support

The service is staffed 24 hours a days, and provides waking night or sleep-ins, depending on need. Support is provided by well-trained staff with good knowledge of the local area and services.

Support is tailored to meet each person’s individual needs and includes:

  • Supporting people to develop a greater level of independence

  • Supporting people to access services in the local community

  • Developing and working within a positive behaviour support plan

  • Working jointly with health professionals to achieve the best outcomes

  • Supporting people to manage money, pay bills, go to appointments, socialise and meet new people.
