Outward launches its new Art Club for adults on the autistic spectrum: new members welcome!

4th May 2017

We are really proud to introduce the new **Outward ASD Art Club**. Our very own Christine Whittaker, who manages our support service for adults on the autistic spectrum, has been working hard to set up this very special club.

ASD Art Club is a great opportunity to make friends, express yourself using art and make artwork which will be displayed in Outward services, or in your own home if you choose. The artwork produced at the club was already featured prominently in our celebration of Autism Awareness Week (Monday 27th March – Sunday 2nd April). We displayed the artwork created at the club in Outward services and at Antill Road, our main office in Bow, east London.

Check out the poster (see 'Document' at bottom of this article) that was designed by the very talented William, an Outward customer on the autistic spectrum who also works at Antill Road.

Do you work with customers, or have a relative/friend/loved one, on the autistic spectrum who would like to get creative? If so, then please encourage them to come to our Art Club @ Antill Road:

  • every Thursday
  • from 11am to 2pm.

Where is our Antill Road office? Here's how to find us at Antill Road

Support is provided by Christine and her team, but Club members can also bring their own support.

Just give Christine Whittaker a call on 07879 555580 or email CWhittaker@outward.org.uk and she will explain more.
