Mad About Animals Activity Break – July 2022

Nutley Edge Activity Breaks are five-day supported holidays for people with learning disabilities and autism run by Outward. Set in the heart of the Sussex countryside, the breaks offer guests the chance to make friends and try new activities, while giving loved ones and carers an opportunity for respite. A warm fun week with animals and pizza!

We had another great week at Nutley Edge last week and it was all about animals! The sun was shining, the BBQ was fired up and the guests got creative with some animal themed art.

Guests enjoyed a selection of day trips and activities throughout the week which included trips to Blackberry Farm, Middle Farm and Drusilla’s Park Zoo.

We also welcomed UK Owl and Rapture UK to Nutley Edge and learnt all about their owls and falcons and watched them fly around. And not forgetting our popular karaoke party, our folk session with Jo and pizza making with Tim!’
