Working with families
We work closely with parents and families, drawing on their wealth of experience and recognise their need for support. In some cases family members are exhausted from fighting the system to get a diagnosis for their son or daughter or to receive the right kind of help and support.
We appreciate families can be an invaluable support to the service with their knowledge and skills, understanding and experience of supporting their son or daughter over the years. We offer and pay for family members to attend external training and conference setting to support their understanding and interest in ASD.
