Outward is a truly diverse organisation. We offer a wide range of working environments from Outreach Services and Independent Living Schemes to Residential Homes and Floating Support services. Our roles are wide and varied but all include a package of training, regular supervision and the opportunity to work within a committed team.
Level 1 and 2 Support Workers
Our Support Workers work with some of the most vulnerable people in society including those with Learning Disabilities, mental health support needs, older people or young people with support needs enabling them to live more independently. These positions are offered on permanent full time, part time or flexible hours basis.
Flexible hours positions are posts that enable you to work the hours that best suit you and the people you support. Working flexibly means that you are not tied to working a set number of hours and can arrange your work life around your other commitments.
We offer flexible hours working across our entire organisation, from a variety of support roles to a range of office based roles across all our departments. We developed flexible working to better meet the needs of the people that we support but it has proven to be so successful that we have implemented it across all areas of our charity to help our staff achieve a better work/life balance. In 2010 our flexible hours approach won a national award for its role in shaping how social care is delivered.
