Work with us

People

At Outward we recognise that our success depends upon our staff and volunteers. Our excellent reputation is built upon the quality of care and support that they provide. We employ over 450 people across nine London boroughs and each one of them is a valued member of our team. Our care and support staff do some truly remarkable work in supporting people towards greater independence. But don't just take our word for it - this is what our staff, volunteers and service users say…

“The lady who supports me is very caring… a lovely lady I am happy to have met”

“I provide a home visit service to support older people in Hackney. The work is interesting and makes a real difference. Recently I supported an older gentleman to better manage his finances and prevent the loss of his home.”

“I work as part of Outwards Internal agency. I support people with learning disabilities with daily living support which includes personal care, shopping, managing daily finances and administering medication. The Internal Agency means that I am able to work around my studies and no two days are the same - one day I might support a service user to get out and about and socialise and the next researching their next holiday on the internet!”
Naomi Miller - Outreach Support Worker, Outward

“Volunteering to support people with learning disabilities has been a great learning experience and very rewarding. Outward staff are very friendly and have been a good source of support to me”
