Transition
The ASD Specialist Outreach Service at Outward offers transition packages from schools, into further college education, day service, work settings and the move-on into other alternative accommodation settings.
The service forges links with special needs schools in several boroughs, and works closely with the teaching staff on the class programmes for that individual. This enables the team to build a trusting relationship with the student, enabling a smooth transition into other settings. The service has successfully transitioned young school leavers into a college setting.
