The aim of the Housing Team is to provide a flexible high quality, responsive and effective housing management service to all our service users. We want to enable people to maintain their tenancies and live in the community in a range of ordinary housing suitable to their individual needs.
Each tenant has a named housing officer, whom they can contact between the hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Housing officers arrange 1-2-1 meetings to support tenants with housing benefits claims, maintenance/repair issues or other similar tenancy issues. We also arrange tenant meetings and surgeries in the different boroughs in which we work.
All properties have emergency out of hours numbers to support tenants to deal with issues such as burst pipes or major problems with utilities when then office is closed.
Outward uses a wide range of rent payment and collection system to assist tenants to pay their charges as easily as possible.
