Peter Little, Outward CEO

Peter has served as the senior officer of Outward for the last ten years, overseeing its successful entry into the Newlon Group in February 2001 and the merger with Tower Hamlets Consortium in 2002.  As well as being Chief Executive of Outward, he is a member of  the Newlon Housing Trust Executive Team.  During his time at Outward, Peter has led the organisation in developing a range of innovative supported living and outreach schemes for people with learning disabilities.

 

Peter has wide experience in supported housing and care, including managing registered care homes and nursing homes.  As well as people with learning disabilities, he has direct experience of working with homeless people, frail elders, mental health services and the Probation Service.

He has been involved in the voluntary sector for many years, serving on a number of committees including HILT (Hackney Inependent Living Team), Voluntary Action and  a MIND Group.  He was the chairperson of St Giles' Trust (an agency providing services to homeless people in Southwark) where he has been on the committee for nearly twenty years.
