Service user and staff working together at training
In autumn 2006, fifteen service users each partnered by a member of staff took part in a pilot mulit-media course offered by the University of East London. Each service user produced his or her own individualised Person Centred Plan.
Participation Development staff have devised an in-house training package for staff so they can support any service users who want one to start work on their own Person Centred Plan using a variety of media. These will be in a form that is accessible to each individaul service user enabling him/her to communicate their needs, wishes, dreams etc to their circle of support.
