Service User Training Workshop
In 2004 Outward appointed a Participation Development Officer with the remit of developing the inclusion, participation and involvement of service users and parents/carers throughout both the organisation and the local community. We now have two staff who have had several notable successes:
- Focus Group
- Service User Interview Panels
- Accessible Information
- WhereCanI? Website
- Bi-monthly Newletter
- Parent/Carer Forum
- Person Centred Planning training
In the next couple of years, we want to concentrate on developing participation among other service users groups, especially those who use our mental health services and those with higher support needs.
