Outward successfully gains ISO 9001 accreditation

ISO 9001 is an internationally recognised standard for how an organisation manages and monitors the quality of its services.

In readiness for the inspection from ISO's auditors in July 2008, Outward developed a Quality Manual which set out the procedures we use for monitoring quality. Some examples of areas covered are:-

  • Policies & Procedures
  • Outward's Quality policy
  • Business planning & setting of aims & objectives
  • Human Resources records
  • Control of records
  • Complaints monitoring
  • Internal audits
  • Board & Committee structures
  • Staffing structures.

Outward successfully passed the inspection which benchmarks our systems to accepted internation standards. This success demonstrates that we take the quality of our support and care services seriously by having systems in place to ensure continuous improvement.

This accreditation further enhances Outward's status as a provider of quality support and care services.
