Mental Health

Our Outreach services provide home visit (floating) one-to-one support for people living independently in the community. The service operates around a persons individual needs so the level of service varies from person to person. Our approach is flexible which enables people to get the support that they need such as emotional support or help with managing some practical aspects of their lives such as the home, accessing benefits, budgeting or engaging with employment or voluntary work. The flexible nature of the service also allows for low level support to be enhanced where necessary, particularly in relation to coping with mental health crisis or periods of distress.

Our supported living services provide both long term accommodation and ongoing support for people with mental health needs. Each person works with a ‘key worker’ to develop a support plan that meets their specific needs and enables them to live more independently. Support is ongoing and a key objective is to better engage people with the communities in which they live and support people to enable them to the things they wish to do. Our services are a partnership between Outward and the Newlon Housing Trust - Newlon owns the services and we provide both housing management and care and support.
