Meet the board

Chris Blundell

ChrisBlundell Chris Blundell has 15 years experience of working in public sector housing, care and support management.  Currently operating as an independent consultant to the public sector, Chris is passionate about the services that vulnerable people receive. Being part of Outward gives Chris the opportunity to influence the strategic direction of Outward to ensure that it goes from strength to strength.
 

Chris Murray

ChrisMurrey Chris has academic and vocational postgraduate qualifications in housing/social policy and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing. With over 15 years experience in housing, care and support Chris has worked for housing associations and local authorities across the country but now spends most of his time delivering independent consultancy and project management services. Currently he is focusing on remodelling support and care services for vulnerable adults in several UK regions. His additional interests include participating in a non-executive capacity on a number of charity/non-for-profit boards - including disability arts and care.
 

George Tompkins

GeorgeTompkins George Tompkins joined Outward’s board in 2007. George is a city based financial analyst and an active member of our board. In addition to undertaking regular board duties, he is also represents Outward at the Newlon Audit Committee and co-chairs Outward's Operations Committee alongside Chris Murray.
 

Hanifah Law

HanifahLaw Hanifah Law is a Retired Business Director with over 20 years experience in senior business management. She has an impressive track record in turning around under performing companies and is proud to have achieved success in the far East within challenging and male dominated environments. Hanifah serves on the board of directors in a number of charitable organisations and continues to manage Chinese Culture Websites and writes blogs relating to Business and Management in China

 

 

Midge Broadly

MidgeBroadley Midge Broadly, a retired school secretary, joined Outward’s board in 2002. She has been a local councilor in the London Borough of Waltham Forest since 1998 and was Mayor from 2001/2. Her current roles include being a Board member of Ascham Homes, which is the arms length housing management body for Waltham Forest, Chair of Transport Liaison Committee and a Trustee of Climbers Nursery

Rashid Teladia

Rashid Teladia is an independent Social and Urban Regeneration Business Management Consultant - prior to this he was Chief Executive of the Bridge Project in Tower Hamlets. Rashid was a founder member of the East London Board of the Prince’s Trust before becoming Chair of the Board and subsequently, Chair of the Prince’s Trust Business Committee (London) for four years.

Rashid served two terms as a member of the Department of Trade and Industry's Ethnic Minority Businesses Forum which offered strategic advice to government departments on developing policies and practices to support ethnic minority business. Rashid also served for six years as a non-executive director with the Whipps Cross University Hospital Trust and he is now one of the Trustees for the Coroner’s Courts Support Service.

Vincent Placide

VincentPlacide Vincent Placide has over 15 years experience of working in the social housing sector. Prior to joining the Outward board in 2009 Vincent worked with Local Authorities and Housing Associations where he specialised in Leasehold Management before establishing shared ownership and market rented schemes with Presentation SIA. Vincent remains committed to the sector, believing that everyone is entitled to decent housing at a fair rent. Currently, in addition to supporting Outward, Vincent is pursuing other housing related endeavours including property sales and rentals in the private sector.
