Meet the Senior Team

Peter Little

Peter has served as the senior officer of Outward for the last ten years, overseeing its successful entry into the Newlon Group in February 2001 and the merger with Tower Hamlets Consortium in 2002. As well as being Chief Executive of Outward, he is a member of the Newlon Housing Trust Executive Team. During his time at Outward, Peter has led the organisation in developing a range of innovative supported living and outreach schemes for people with learning disabilities.

Peter Butler

Peter has a post graduate Certificate in Housing Management and joined Newlon Housing Trust in 1995. After undertaking various management positions he became a Deputy Director in 2002. In October 2006, Peter joined Outward as Director of Housing and Support after Newlon's supported housing services were transferred to Outward. He is responsible for the continued management and development of those services and overall responsibility for both Outward's Housing Team and Quality and Contracts Manager.

Russell Garnham – Director of Learning Disability Services

Russell has worked in social care for over 25 years, his previous roles include Programme Director - The Southwark Primary Care Trust, Director of Barnet Mencap and Childrens Services Co-ordinator for The London Borough of Lambeth. Russell is responsible for managing and developing a range of services to support people with Learning Disabilities, including Supported Living, Outreach, Registered Care and Outward’s specialist ASD Service.

Kirsty Cornell – Director of HR and Business Support

Kirsty Cornell joined Outward in February 2007 as the newly created Director of HR and Business Support. Kirsty is CIPD qualified with over 6 years’ experience of people management and development within the care and support field. As well as overseeing the HR function for Outward, Kirsty has responsibly for Business Development, Central services, and internal and external communications.
