Single Day Training & Development Programmes
Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorders
This interactive and engaging single day course investigates the theory of Autism, the behaviours of people with Autism and looks at appropriate behavioural management techniques. It is suitable for all people working within social care - particularly those working with people with Learning Disabilities.
Understanding Aspergers Syndrome
Investigating this often misrepresented condition, this single day course provides basic knowledge in relation to the condition, identifies displayed behaviour patterns of people with Aspergers syndrome and looks at various routes to providing appropriate support.
Volunteering in Social Care
This upbeat and engaging induction programme provides a basic understanding of social care and the role of providers. It explores the terminology we use and looks at the role of volunteers and the benefits they can bring to vulnerable people. Code of conduct and basic rules are explored alongside more formal elements including POVA and health and safety
