Three of Outward’s volunteers have been awarded the new V50 Award!

Outward’s volunteers have been awarded the new V50 Award from VInspired for their commitment to volunteering and helping others. Iebke Giese, Katharina Hopke and Ema Omijie have received certificates from VInspired for ‘using their skills and talent to make a difference’ and are some of the first in the UK to be awarded the V50 award.

VInspired works with people under the age of 25 to find volunteering opportunities and aims to help 1 million young people into volunteer opportunities.

The three volunteers had to complete detailed logs books recording the volunteer work they do, the impact it has on the people they work with and the local community. The volunteers were nominated for the award by Outward for an outstandimng contribution to te people that they continue to support.
