We are an Autism Accredited service, currently working across London and the outskirts. We have held autism accreditation status for three years.
We promote an ethos of continuous development and best practice in the field of ASD, by ensuring we remain abreast of current research and its application in relation to the service.
Criteria for Autism Accreditation: In order to achieve accreditation against Autism Accreditation standards, an organisation must provide evidence that:
• It has a specialised knowledge and understanding of autism
• That this informs the organisation, the resources and management of the organisation
• That this informs the individual assessment and support plan for all service users
• The knowledge and understanding of autism consistently informs all aspects of practice.
Alongside this basic criteria is a strict and rigorous procedure of monitoring and review of practices via inspection.
In 2008 we were accredited with a ‘good practice award’ for our consistent approach to working practices.
Our next annual inspection takes place in April 2009.
